Process Controls Corporation Acquires Automatic Controls Company in Louisville, KY
Companies join forces to provide a greater depth of products and services to the Midwest region
INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana. January 26, 2022 — Process Controls Corporation (PCC), serving the states of Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, Illinois, Michigan, and West Virginia has acquired Automatic Controls Company (ACC), a process industry expert and manufacturers’ representative for more than 35 years.
Effective January 1, 2022, the acquisition was finalized at PCC’s headquarters located in Indianapolis. The move to acquire ACC first started more than a year ago, when both companies started to realize the potential benefits.
“Excited to have the entire ACC team become a part of the PCC family,” shares John Shaffner, President of PCC. “The acquisition allows us to gain access to a larger market share and customer base, reduce competition, and achieve economies of scale.”
The acquisition of ACC fits into PCC’s overall strategy to provide the best process controls expertise in the industry. By joining forces, both companies secure more resources while scaling operations to better serve the entire region. Additionally, both PCC and ACC enter new markets while diversifying their product and service offerings, increasing profits, and providing greater value to their customers and communities at large.
